Job summary

Lee Health’s Cape Coral Hospital Neuro Stroke unit is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, high-quality care for neuro and stroke patients. You will document nursing care according to standards, assess and plan patient needs, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure timely, effective treatment and positive outcomes.

The role requires Florida nursing licensure, BLS certification, and the ability to work day or night shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required.
• Associates or Bachelors in Nursing preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Currently licensed in the State of Florida.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document patient care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate nursing care with other disciplines to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Act as clinician, teacher, researcher, and leader; support professional development and quality improvement.
