Page Mechanical Group, Inc. is looking for a Clinical Nurse II for the Medsurg/Neuro-Stroke Unit at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC. In this full-time position, you'll provide patient-centered care to diverse populations suffering from neurological conditions, like stroke and seizures, while working closely with an interdisciplinary team.

You will need a Nursing degree, preferably a BSN, along with an active RN license in D.C. and relevant clinical experience. The role involves assessing patients, administering medications, and ensuring safe transitions of care.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Two or more years of clinical nursing experience upon hire.
• Current, active RN license in the District of Columbia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care at the bedside.
• Perform serial neurological assessments at intervals defined by patient acuity.
• Administer neurological and medical-surgical medications safely.
• Coordinate care with case management and other health services.
