Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville Stroke/Neuro Unit is hiring Nurse Aide/Healthcare Technician to support patient care under RN supervision in a 32-bed Neuro/Stroke unit. This full-time night shift offers 36 hours per week with benefits eligibility.

You will perform ADLs, take vital signs, assist with safety, and handle light clerical tasks to support a collaborative care team. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, current Nurse Aide I or II registry status in North Carolina, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Listing with the NC Nurse Aide Registry as Nurse Aide I or NC Board of Nursing as Nurse Aide II.
• BLS required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Maintain clean and safe patient environment.
• Take vital signs and measurements.
• Assist with personal hygiene and feeding.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with clerical tasks and data entry.
• Maintain inventory of supplies.
• Perform ECGs and venipuncture as trained.
