Vanderbilt Health’s Neuroscience Stepdown unit is seeking registered nurses for full-time day and night shifts. You will apply the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to reach optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• 1 year of relevant nursing experience, preferably in neuroscience/stepdown units.
• Graduate of an approved discipline specific program.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in establishing the plan of care and coordinate delivery across the continuum.
• Analyze patient information to determine nursing diagnoses and priorities.
• Evaluate patient progress and apply interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Promote patient safety and a healthy environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
