Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville seeks a RN for Neuroscience Stepdown through the Staffing Collaborative. Assignment spans 13–26 weeks with full-time shifts, premium pay, and optional health benefits. Weekend/holiday coverage may be required.

As a Registered Nurse with neuro stepdown experience, you will collaborate with health teams, apply the nursing process, educate patients and families, and adapt to unit needs on day or night shifts.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse required for unit assignment.
• Graduate of an approved program; nursing degree or equivalent experience.
• 1 year Neuro Stepdown RN experience; 2+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates to plan and deliver care across the care continuum.
• Analyzes information to guide nursing diagnoses and interventions.
• Monitors progress, adjusts care plans, and ensures safe, effective care.
• Promotes health, safety, and learning for patients and families.
