Job summary

ThedaCare’s Neuro-Neenah Hospital unit is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) to support nursing teams in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care on a 16- to 19-bed neuroscience unit. You will assist with routine nursing tasks, monitor patients, and report changes to the care team.

Position includes a 12-hour night schedule (5:30 pm–6:00 am), 3rd weekend rotation, and rotating holidays, with a rotating shift pattern that values teamwork and ongoing learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 18+ years of age.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated patient care activities and follow evidenced-based nursing practices.
• Monitor vital signs, height, weight, and report changes to the care team.
• Provide compassionate patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Report patient status changes to prevent escalation of risks.
• Assist with data collection and documentation for the care team.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and transport of patients and equipment.
• Perform ECGs and phlebotomy as directed.
• Deliver age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care in a safe environment.
