Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH seeks a Registered Nurse for the Neuro Spine Unit 1 to provide general nursing care across the continuum of care in a 24/7 system. The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs following policy.

The role requires assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency as a High Reliability Organization (HRO). Night shift, 36 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN is required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual (30%).
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes (30%).
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and revision of plan of care (20%).
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement for quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance (10%).
• Operations (10%).
