AdventHealth in Parker, CO is seeking a dedicated Care Support/Patient Care Technician for full-time day shifts. You’ll welcome patients, prepare rooms, assist with transfers, and maintain safety and documentation in the EMR. A high standard of customer service and confidentiality is essential.

Requirements include a high school diploma, BLS, CPCT/NCPCT or CNA certification, and 1+ year experience preferred. A $10k sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

• Prepares rooms for new admissions, including setting up items and vital sign equipment.
• Welcomes new admissions and orients patients to their rooms.
• Transfers patients between beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs with assistance.
• Ensures patient safety by following proper lifting and transporting techniques.
• Documents care, intake/output, vital signs, and weights per policy.
• Collects and labels patient specimens and sends to the lab.
• Reports changes in patient status promptly.
• Serves as liaison between patients, families, staff, and medical personnel.
• Maintains accurate patient records and unit census.
• Responds to patient call lights and addresses needs per a suitable skill level.
• Maintains a clean, safe patient environment.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living as ordered.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
