Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, affiliated with BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for neuro home and community settings. The role emphasizes 1:1 therapy, autonomy in treatment planning, and meaningful, real-life goals in patients’ homes and communities.

You will work with individuals recovering from stroke, TBI, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological conditions, addressing communication, cognition, swallowing, and independence.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state license to practice as an SLP.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum one year of SLP work experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with heavier lifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly re-assess treatment effectiveness; attend staffing and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations; provide home safety recommendations and referrals.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, clients, and families.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to improve care and outcomes.
