Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver neuro-focused rehabilitation in home and community settings, where communication, cognition, and swallowing challenges arise in real life.

You will help patients rebuild the ability to communicate, think, and participate in daily life after neurological injury or illness, with clinical autonomy and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations.
• At least one year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist is preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injury preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
