Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd’s Neuro Intermediate Unit (NIU) in New Albany, IN seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (7pm–7am), 36 hours weekly, WOW+1 weekend/one weeknight. Self-scheduling and a sign-on bonus for experienced applicants are available.

The RN will provide direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge, work within an interdisciplinary team, and support stroke and neuroscience patients with high-quality care and compassionate patient-family

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for healthcare provider required.
• ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
• NIHSS certification required (obtained within 10 weeks of hire).

Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge.
• Function as on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet patient, family, and co-worker needs.
