Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 2D Neuro Unit. This part-time role (24 hours weekly) offers days (7am–7pm), self-scheduling, and eligibility for a sign-on bonus.

You will provide direct nursing care from admission to discharge in a fast-paced neuroscience unit. The unit specializes in stroke and neurological care, with an interdisciplinary team and a strong commitment to patient- and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for healthcare provider required.
• ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
• NIHSS certification required (obtained within 10 weeks of hire).

Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge.
• Function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet patient, family, and coworker needs.

Education

Indiana RN license (or compact)

BLS for healthcare provider

ACLS for Healthcare provider (within 6 months)

NIHSS certification (within 10 weeks)
