Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast, in Cape Girardeau, MO, is seeking a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for the 4E Neuro unit. This full-time role operates 12-hour nights (7:00p–7:30a) with a 36‑hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association (or within 30 days).
• Must meet state board of nursing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
