Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for the 4E Neuro unit. This full-time, 12-hour night shift (7:00p - 7:30a) position uses the nursing process to deliver patient care and coordinate with multiple departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Mercy offers generous incentives including sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for experienced RNs and up to $7,500 for new grads, plus bridging programs to support BSN/MSN.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Must have current RN license within hiring state/compact licensure.
• Certifications: BLS certification through the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
