Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO seeks a Registered Nurse for the 4E Neuro unit. The role involves delivering patient care using the nursing process, coordinating with departments and ensuring patient rights and confidentiality.

Shifts are 12-hour days, with a full-time schedule of 36 hours per week. Incentives include sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for experienced RNs and up to $7,500 for new grads, no contract, and bridging programs to advance to BSN/MSN.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or complete within 30 days of hire.
• Other unit specific certifications as required.
• Physical requirements: push/pull/lift 50 pounds; standing and walking; grip/reach/bend/kneel/twist/squat.

Responsibilities

• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
