Job summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield - Neurology 6C is seeking a full-time RN for 3 - 12-hour shifts (0630-1900). This hybrid teacher/floor nurse role focuses on patients with head, neck and spine injuries, with opportunities to educate students when present.

Qualifications include an RN license in Missouri (or a compact state) and a nursing degree (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN). Various certifications (ACLS, PALS, TNCC, etc.) may be required by unit needs. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN).
• Active RN license in Missouri or compact state.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across all ages; assess, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Coordinate with ancillary departments to optimize patient care.
• Teach students when present on the unit and support education initiatives.
