Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: RN license active in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion within 30 days of hire; other unit-specific certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Uses nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
