Johns Hopkins University seeks a Research Technologist to perform laboratory tasks and execute routine assays following established protocols. You will conduct clinical or research experiments, learn techniques, collect data, and maintain equipment. A Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field is required; preferred candidates have some post-undergraduate experience. Location: School of Medicine Campus. Schedule: M-F, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or related field.
Education may substitute for experience per Johns Hopkins equivalency formula.
Responsibilities
Perform clinical and/or research laboratory experiments following established protocols.
Set up experiments based on defined standards.
Collect project data and maintain equipment.
Train users in standard lab techniques.
Monitor inventory and perform routine maintenance.
