Job summary

Johns Hopkins University seeks a Research Technologist to perform laboratory tasks and execute routine assays following established protocols. You will conduct clinical or research experiments, learn techniques, collect data, and maintain equipment. A Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field is required; preferred candidates have some post-undergraduate experience. Location: School of Medicine Campus. Schedule: M-F, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

• Education may substitute for experience per Johns Hopkins equivalency formula.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical and/or research laboratory experiments following established protocols.
• Set up experiments based on defined standards.
• Collect project data and maintain equipment.
• Train users in standard lab techniques.
• Monitor inventory and perform routine maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
