Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, affiliated with BrightSpring Health Services, is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant in Columbia, SC. The role delivers PTA services under the direction of a licensed PT, participates in treatment planning, and helps secure adaptive equipment to improve patient outcomes.

The position requires an active PTA license, BLS/CPR certification, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.
Minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
Effective verbal and written communication skills; professional interaction.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Provides PTA services planned, delegated and supervised by the PT.
Confer with PT regularly regarding treatment plan and patient progress.
Assist with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and treatment areas.
Report equipment problems to ensure good working order.
Communicate patient needs and progress to PT and assist in securing adaptive equipment.
Maintain patient treatment and billing documentation per regulations and company policy.
Participate in staff development programs and continuing education as required.
