Job summary

NeuLife Rehabilitation of Louisiana is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team. The OT will evaluate and implement individualized treatment programs to help clients regain daily living and functional independence within a multidisciplinary environment.

The role emphasizes neuro-rehabilitation, brain injury, and post-acute care, with collaboration across physicians, nurses, therapists, clients, families, and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Louisiana Occupational Therapist license in good standing.
• Experience in neuro-rehabilitation, brain injury, spinal cord injury, or post-acute rehab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT evaluations to determine functional abilities and goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable objectives.
• Provide OT services to improve daily living, cognitive, and functional skills.
• Monitor progress and modify plans; communicate with the team.
• Educate clients and families on plans and home strategies.
• Assess home and community environments for modifications.
• Maintain compliant clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with medical and rehab staff; participate in team meetings.
