Job summary

Collage Rehabilitation Partners' Learning Services unit in Escondido, CA is seeking a PRN Direct Support Professional to help adults with brain injury in our residential program.

You will provide supervised assistance with daily living tasks, personal care and therapies, and accompany clients to appointments and activities. The role requires comfort working with medically complex and behaviorally challenged individuals and may involve driving responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with responsible driving behaviors.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote our clients’ success in daily living tasks, recreational activities and vocational pursuits.
• Responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care and hygiene, therapies, and driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities and other outings.
• Candidates must be comfortable working with a variety of medically complicated and behaviorally challenged clients.
