The role provides leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care, with autonomy and opportunities for growth within the unit and beyond.

We value communication with patients, families, and the health care team and support continuing education, including BSN progression.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Enrollment in a BSN program within 3 years of hire.
• Completion of a BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
