Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s University Hospital in Columbus, OH, seeks a Staff Nurse (RN) for the Neuro Progressive Care unit. You will provide direct patient care, coordinate with the care team, and support patient and family needs in a fast-paced specialty unit.

Requires a nursing degree from CCNE/ACEN accredited program and an Ohio license or interim permit. Prior experience in similar care settings is preferred; shift variety and 36-hour schedule are included.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program required.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care for patients and families.
• Direct and supervise nursing care provided by members of the patient care team.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate nursing care in alignment with professional practice.
