Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve on the patient care team in an assigned area with direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Record vitals, collect information, and assist with admission, transfer and discharge processes as delegated by a RN.
• Perform ADLs and basic nursing tasks per RN guidance, and document in EMR.
• Label and secure patient belongings; ensure patient room is safe and uncluttered.
• Assist with meals, ambulation, transfers and mobility with proper body mechanics.
• Participate in Hourly Patient Rounds and provide patient observation as directed by the RN.
• Collect and transport specimens to the lab; assist with dressing changes and wound care as directed.
