Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Fort Worth is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) – Neuro for part-time days. The role supports nurses, provides direct patient care, and participates in care planning in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will meet training and certification requirements including H.S. Diploma, CLIAFE, BCLS, CPI, and PCT training or EMT eligibility. On-site teamwork and safety-focused care are essential.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• CLIAFE compliance for foreign education equivalency required.
• PCT Training Program TX CNA or THR-approved program; not always required to maintain certification after hire.
• EMT training or equivalent medical training upon hire.
• Nursing student with fundamentals or foreign nurse degree may qualify.
• BCLS required prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• CPI training maintained annually (90 days required).
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and assistance per plan of care.
• Collects and reports patient data; supports admissions, transfers, discharges.
• Performs technical procedures safely and documents care.
• Collaborates with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and addresses patient needs.
• Demonstrates teamwork and effective cross-disciplinary communication.
• Participates in process improvement and safety initiatives.
