Job summary

Avera Therapy-Plaza Sioux Falls is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join a multidisciplinary team. You will evaluate patients across ages, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy for speech, cognition, feeding and swallowing while coordinating with physicians and families.

Qualifications include a Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology and active licensure; provisional licensure is allowed for 1–2 years during supervised practice.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, or provisional license for 1–2 years.
• Eligibility to practice and participate in an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients using formal and informal assessments to plan care.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for speech, cognition, feeding and swallowing.
• Provide direct therapy across infant to geriatric populations in collaboration with the rehab team.
• Document evaluation results, treatment plans and progress notes; communicate with family and physicians.
