Job summary

Aurora West Allis Medical Center in Wisconsin is seeking a Doctorate-level Physical Therapist for outpatient neuro rehabilitation. The role focuses on evaluating patients, creating individualized plans of care, and guiding recovery across diverse neurological diagnoses.

Includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a 40-hour work week with typical outpatient scheduling. Licensure, BLS, and strong communication are essential; experience in vestibular or advanced rehab tech is preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state where you work.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (AHA).
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician referrals and completes musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary evaluations.
• Establishes a plan of care and implements treatment based on evaluation results and goals.
• Plans for discharge with home programs and family teaching; coordinates community referrals.
• Documents patient care, progress notes, and billing per policy and timelines.
• Maintains productivity standards and adheres to billing and documentation rules.
• Ensures patient safety and follows infection control measures.
