Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Neuro-Ophthalmology faculty member to provide patient care, contribute to teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and engage in translational or clinical research within the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences.

The role includes clinical duties at UW Health clinic sites, and may include involvement in research collaborations and educational activities for trainees.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and Wisconsin medical license by start date.
• Completion of U.S. Neuro-ophthalmology accredited residency and fellowship by start date.
• Relevant clinical experience in neuro‑ophthalmology.
• Interest in medical student and resident education.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care at UW Health ophthalmology clinics.
• Engage in teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in research activities and potential clinical trials.
