Qualifications

• Board-certified or board eligible for Wisconsin Medical License by start of position.
• Completion of a U.S. Ophthalmology accredited residency by start date of the position.
• Interest in medical student and resident education.

Responsibilities

• Direct medical and surgical care of patients in a comprehensive ophthalmology practice.
• Practice at UW Health clinics, multiple sites including 1 S. Park Clinic, UW East Clinic, Deming Way Clinic, VA Hospital, regional clinics.
• General ophthalmology call requirements aligned with DOVS standards.
• Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring medical students, residents and fellows.
• Develop and support clinical or basic science research programs within the department.
• Participate in clinical, education or research working groups within DOVS and collaborate collegially.
