Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL is seeking an APRN or PA-C to join the Neuro Oncology - Medical Oncology team onsite at Magnolia Hospital. The role partners with physicians to deliver comprehensive cancer care in a dynamic, academic environment.

The successful candidate will provide evaluation, management and treatment for neuro-oncology patients within a defined scope, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree at minimum; master's degree preferred.
• Graduate of an Accredited Advanced Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant program.
• Active Florida medical license and national certification; BLS and ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team within neuro oncology.
• Correlates data to form differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Performs minor procedures within scope of practice and prescribes medications as appropriate.
• Documents patient care in accordance with medical staff rules.
