Job summary

Moffitt Health is seeking an APRN or PA-C to join the Neuro Oncology team at Magnolia Hospital in Tampa, FL. The role supports physicians in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a diverse cancer patient population within a collaborative academic medical environment.

Ideal candidates have a Florida license (or ability to obtain), BLS, ACLS as a plus, and oncology or internal medicine experience, with neuro-oncology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree minimum; master's degree preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant program.
• Active FL medical license and national certification.
• Active BLS; ACLS a plus.
• Oncology or general internal medicine experience; neuro-oncology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize care.
• Correlates data to formulate differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Prescribes medications within scope of practice and documents care per medical staff rules.
• May perform minor procedures within scope of practice.
• Ensures accurate medical records and coordination with specialists.
