Job summary
Novant Health is seeking a full-time BC/BE Neuro-Oncologist in Charlotte, NC to join our established Neuroscience group. The role involves developing a network-wide neuro-oncology program and collaborating with neurosurgery, pathology, medical and radiation oncology.
They will contribute to tumor boards, clinical trials, and teaching medical students, residents, and advanced providers across the system. Licensure in North Carolina is required.
Qualifications
- Board certification in Neurology and Neuro-Oncology is required or eligible.
- Completed Neurology residency and Neuro-Oncology fellowship.
- Valid, unrestricted medical license to practice in North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Provide neuro-oncology care to patients with primary and metastatic CNS tumors.
- Develop system-wide Neuro-Oncology pathways and protocols.
- Participate in tumor board and clinical trials.
- Collaborate with neurosurgery, pathology, medical and radiation oncology.
- Teaching medical students, residents, and advanced providers.
