Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a full-time BC/BE Neuro-Oncologist to join the Neuroscience group in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on care for patients with primary and metastatic CNS tumors and on developing a network-wide neuro-oncology program.

The position offers opportunities to collaborate with neurosurgery, neuropathology, medical and radiation oncology, and to teach medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers across the system.

Qualifications

Must have completed Neurology residency and Neuro-Oncology fellowship.
Board certification or eligible status in Neurology and Neuro-Oncology.
Unrestricted medical license to practice in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

Care for Neuro-Oncology patients with primary and metastatic CNS tumors and help develop a network-wide program.
Collaborate with neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, medical and radiation oncology across the Novant Health network.
Teach medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers.
Contribute to Neuro-Oncology clinical pathways, tumor board, and clinical trials.

Seeking Neurologist to care for Neuro-Oncology patients with primary and metastatic CNS tumors to help develop a network-wide program in neuro-oncology, centered at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.
Affiliated with Novant Health, a not-for-profit health network with 19 acute hospitals across North and South Carolina
Immediate opportunity to contribute to and develop system wide initiatives including the Neuro-Oncology clinical pathways and treatment protocols, Neuro-Oncology system wide tumor board, and Neuro-oncology system wide clinical trials.
Large referral base from throughout the Novant Health network.
Will work with neurosurgeons, neuropathologists, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists throughout the Novant Health network.
