Job summary
Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Neurohospitalist to join a multidisciplinary inpatient neurology and stroke program. You will work within a robust team and provide coverage across Forsyth and affiliated stroke centers.
The position features a 7 on / 7 off schedule with 12-hour shifts and remote night call with an APP in-house, supporting high-quality stroke care day and night.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited neurology residency.
- For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to neurology.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient neurology and stroke care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Care for stroke patients from ER to discharge in a comprehensive stroke program.
- Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, and neuroradiology teams.
- Support a 7 on / 7 off schedule with 12-hour shifts and remote night call with APP in house.
