Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts to provide holistic patient care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive faith-based environment.

The role requires an RN license, an Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), and strong communication and organizational skills. Night shifts and patient-centered care are essential in this facility."

Qualifications

Organizational and multi-tasking skills
Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
Ability to work as a team player within a unit
Effective verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills
EKG proficiency as per unit requirements
Fluency in English (read, verbal and written)
Basic computer skills – navigate Windows-based programs
Ability to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise care plans

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors
Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed
Administer medications and treatments accurately per orders and protocols
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications and self-care
Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record
