Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide evidence-based, patient-centered care in a fast-paced med/surg environment at Aurora Medical Center Sheboyboy County. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, advocate for patients, and drive positive outcomes.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, engage patients and families, and use evidence-based practices to improve outcomes while maintaining a safe environment.

Qualifications

• RN license in applicable state.
• BLS required; additional certifications may be required based on specialty.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Typically 1+ year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care for patients requiring short-term monitoring and evaluation.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while engaging patients and families.
• Use evidence-based practices and quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
• Identify risks and maintain a safe care environment.
• Float to other units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
