Job summary

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital in Brandon, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for Neuro Med Surg to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while collaborating with physicians, care team, and family members.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, a Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), and current BLS certification. Previous acute care experience and strong communication are desired, with commitment to patient

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
• Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Med/Surg patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records including posting tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
