Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi‑State Compact License
• 2+ years of recent critical care RN experience in ICU or Emergency
• Conscious sedation experience highly preferred
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider and document care.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and address adverse reactions.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and anticipating needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow‑up measures.
