Job summary

TEEMA Group in White Plains, NY, seeks a Special Procedures Technologist to lead interventional imaging in a fast-paced hospital operating room. You will collaborate with radiologists and surgeons, ensuring precise patient positioning and adherence to protocols while delivering compassionate care for pediatric to geriatric patients.

The role requires ARRT registration (RT and Radiograph), NY DOH licensure or permit, BLS, and a minimum of 2 years Neuro Interventional experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an allied health education program at an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program.
• BLS Certification required.
• ARRT Registered: (RT) and Radiograph (R).

Responsibilities

• Interventional imaging and special procedures with correct patient positioning and protocol adherence.
• Collaborate with physicians during complex procedures, ensuring equipment is prepared and operational.
• Produce high-quality technical images and perform QA/calibrations.
• Educate patients and families about examinations to ensure a supportive experience.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and document using EMR/PACS; report malfunctions.
• Attend on-call rotations and respond to emergencies or urgent situations.
• Mentor staff and students as needed.
