Berger Health System in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking skilled Cath Lab Radiologic Technologists to assist Interventional Cardiologists and other specialists in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities include patient interaction, assisting in procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
The ideal candidate must hold various certifications including ACLS and BLS and have the necessary licensure for Ohio, with a focus on quality and efficiency in their duties.
The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the X‑ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique.
Arrhythmia (EP) Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Electrophysiologist for non‑invasive and invasive procedures. The technologist must have knowledge of the X‑ray equipment in use, arrhythmia monitoring, cardiac structures, anatomy of the heart chambers, and sterile technique.
Vascular Interventional (VIR) Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image‑guided vascular procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the various imaging equipment in use including fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound.
Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Neuro Interventional Radiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures. The technologist must have knowledge of the X‑ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, cerebral angiogram coiling, arteriovenous malformations, stroke interventions and sterile technique.
As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.
