Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Neuro Radiographer to support its Neuroscience Unit and interventional procedures. The role involves hands-on operation of imaging/navigation systems used to guide head and spine procedures, intraoperative registration, and data management across Stealth, Brain Lab, Fusion, Vision Sense and VTI.

The position requires 0–2 years of experience, BLS certification, radiology licensing, and the ability to arrive within 30 minutes of duty.

Qualifications

• Proficient with multiple imaging, ultrasound and navigation systems.
• Strong communication with patients, visitors and staff.
• Graduate of AMA approved program for Diagnostic Radiology; High School/GED + Assoc degree required.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiology equipment with proper technique and patient positioning to produce high quality images.
• Maintains and troubleshoots radiology equipment; communicates issues.
• Greets patients, verifies identity and explains procedures clearly.
• Performs procedures per department protocols; monitors patient status and safety.
• Aids radiologists and other staff; responds to emergencies per hospital policies.
• Sets up neuro/oto cases by loading and merging images in multiple systems; pre-use checks of equipment.
• Saves and maintains image/video repositories from navigation systems; post-processing for angio/interventional procedures.
