Job summary

University Medical Center of El Paso seeks a Manager of Neuro-Interventional Technology to lead clinical and technical operations for neuro-interventional radiology. You will supervise technologists, coordinate with physicians and departments, and ensure safety, efficiency, and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Candidates should have five years of progressive radiologic tech experience in neuro-interventional settings, current MRT/ARRT(R), BLS/ACLS, and leadership

Qualifications

• Five years of radiologic technologist experience in neuro-interventional radiology or related procedural imaging environment.
• Acute-care hospital experience required; neurovascular procedures, advanced angiography systems, quality improvement, radiation safety, budgeting, equipment management and staff development preferred.
• Three years of lead, supervisory, or management experience required.
• Current Texas MRT certification required; ARRT(R) registration (R) required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Vascular Interventional Radiography, ARRT(VI), preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program required; bachelor’s degree preferred in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and evaluates clinical and technical operations for Neuro-Interventional Radiology.
• Provides leadership for neuro-interventional technologists and support staff and collaborates with physicians and departments.
• Ensures safe, efficient, patient-centered services and regulatory readiness; manages staffing, workflow, on-call coverage, and budget stewardship.
• Maintains expertise in neuro-interventional imaging technology (biplane angiography, fluoroscopy, 3D imaging, image fusion).
• May provide direct technical support during procedures when needed.
