Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a CNA/PCT to provide essential patient care under RN supervision across adolescent to geriatric populations. You will document in the EMR, monitor vital signs, assist with ADL, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.

New CNA graduates are welcome; NGHS offers an in-house PCT Academy with the next cohort in January 2027. This is an on-site, 12-hour shift position with opportunities for growth within a supportive unit.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or enrollment in NGHS PCT Academy.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent transcript.
• No prior CNA experience required; in-house training available.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and report basic patient data such as vital signs.
• Provide ADL assistance and maintain patient hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, positioning and basic comfort needs.
• Document and communicate patient changes to licensed staff.
• Operate within defined scope and follow unit procedures.
• Respond to call lights and support patient care activities.
