Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Nurse Unit Coordinator for the Neuro Unit. The role is a Full Time, Third Shift (7p-7a) with a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

The nurse will demonstrate proficiency in neuro nursing, provide clinical leadership, and drive safety and quality initiatives under the department manager. BSN is required, with a Master’s preferred if the degree is not in nursing; Virginia RN license and BLS

Qualifications

• 18 months nursing experience required.
• BSN degree is REQUIRED; a Master’s degree is preferred; if the master’s is not in nursing, the BSN is required.
• Virginia RN License is REQUIRED.
• BLS Certification is required within 90 days of hire.
• Professional Specialty Nursing Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for the Neuro Unit and provides clinical leadership in nursing care.
• Leads safety and quality initiatives and supports staff development.
• Improves workflow and enhances staff satisfaction while delivering Gold Standard customer service.
