Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD seeks a Clinical Nurse for the SICU. The role covers 16-bed ICU care for surgical, neurosurgical and medical patients with critical needs, including epilepsy monitoring. You will work nights as part of a multidisciplinary team in a Beacon Unit that emphasizes quality and compassionate care.

Required RN licensure in Maryland or Compact State with BLS; BSN preferred. At least 1 year of acute care experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; current RN licensure in Maryland or Compact State.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred: BSN or MSN.

Responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate care for ICU patients using the nursing process.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support SICU/NCCU standards as part of a Beacon Unit.
