Job summary

MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Staff RN for the Neuro ICU on the night shift. This 0.9 FTE position offers 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends and opportunities to apply specialized training in a multidisciplinary team.

You will organize patient care, follow nursing process, collaborate with colleagues, and advocate for holistic, ethical care. A WA RN license, BSN preferred, BLS and other certifications are required or preferred as described.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington State or MLS endorsement.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating.
• Utilize nursing knowledge to deliver care using the nursing process according to hospital policies.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and health-care team members.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting autonomy and dignity of patients from diverse backgrounds.
