Job summary

Allina Health's United Hospital in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Part-time RN for Neuro Critical Care in the 8-hour night shift. The role provides specialized care to severely ill neurologic patients in ICU settings, with responsibilities across assessment, planning, and coordination of care.

The ideal candidate has an RN license in MN, 2–5 years of RN experience (neuro/critical care preferred), ACLS/ALS or in-house ACLS, and is willing to work every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree required.
• 2 to 5 years RN experience required.
• MN RN licensure required upon hire.
• ACLS or ALS certification (or Allina in-house ACLS) required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs; establish outcomes and plan of care.
• Maintains education and competencies to provide high-quality patient care.
• Incorporates evidence-based nursing practice considering current statutes and regulations.
• Coordinates and delegates to ensure safe, effective care.
• Supplemental roles include Charge Nurse and Preceptor.
