Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro ICU unit. The RN will provide specialized care for patients with complex neurological conditions, coordinating care and using evidence-based practice.

The role requires the ability to work nights 3x per week in a 24-bed Neuro ICU and to uphold high standards of patient safety, communication, and teamwork within a leading academic health system.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing (RN)
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• As an RN you will provide comprehensive patient care following established standards and policies
• Evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassionate communication and teamwork

Responsibilities

• What You’ll Do: provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum
