Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments in Springfield, MA. The RN will apply nursing process in neurocritical care, monitor patients, respond to emergent changes, and maintain composure during crises.

Requirements include active RN license in state, BLS, ACLS/PALS per facility, and 1 year of critical care experience preferred. Travel benefits include competitive weekly pay and insurance options.

The RN - Neuro ICU assumes responsibility and accountabilityfor the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care inthe neuro critical care setting. The Neuro ICU RN consistently performsaccording to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care andrecognizing change in patient’s conditions.The Neuro ICU RN must be alert and prepared at all times to respond toemergent situations and they must also be able to remain calm and professionalin times of crisis.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices

• One year of critical care experience is preferred

• Current BLS card; current ACLS/PALS card (per facilityrequirement)
