Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Neuro ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. The RN must have an active license, an accredited nursing degree, ACLS and BLS, and at least 18 months of acute care Neuro ICU experience.

Start date is 10/19/2026 and shifts are 12 hours. We provide weekly pay, housing options, credentialing fee coverage, health and life insurance, travel reimbursement, a 401(k) plan, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• N eighteen months of recent experience in Acute Care Neuro ICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education to patients and families.
• Monitor life-support equipment and patient status.
• Observe vital signs and respond to distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and catheterization as needed.
• Document medication administration meticulously.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures as needed.
• Perform CPR accurately when required.

Duties Responsibilities

Neuro ICU Nurse (RN) possesses the skills needed to manage the care of adult patients experiencing life-threatening brain related problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions related.

• Provide patient care as well as education and support to the patient's family.
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
• Observe the patient's heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for signs of distress.
• Administer medication, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures necessary for prompt control of changes in patient’s physical condition.
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
